Florence Clayton Roane Robins passed away at her home on October 1, 2018. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Stephen Martin Robins; her parents Florence and Frank Roane; her sisters, Lavinia Roane and Roberta Gayle; her brother, Doswell F. Roane; and her precious great grandson, Camden Martin Adkins. She leaves behind her daughter, Susan Robins Moffitt and her husband Steve; grandson Steven Craig Moffitt, Jr., and great granddaughter Annabel; granddaughter, Whitney Moffitt Adkins and her husband Brett; great grandson Blake, and many nieces and nephews.

Clay had a wonderful life with her husband always by her side. She and Martin had a great circle of friends to include Annie and Edward Leigh, Bill and Nancy McDaniel, Frances and Hersey Hogge, Jackie and Harry Soles, and Kitty Squires, with whom she and Martin had many great card games and many, many wonderful adventures together.

Clay was a member of Bellamy United Methodist church and sang in the choir there for many years. She played a major role in the raising on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren which left them all rich with love.

Visitation will be held at Bellamy United Methodist Church on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 11:00-12:00 p.m., followed by the service at 12 noon. Burial will be in Bellamy Memorial Cemetery.
