Evelyn Bailie, 82, from Norfolk, VA passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026 peacefully surrounded by family.

Evelyn was born March 18th, 1944, in Turtle Creek, PA to George and Martha Hall. Evelyn is preceded in death by her mother and father, as well as sisters Martha Schwab, Alberta Mason, Edith Wilkins, Helen Saula, Carol King, Kathleen Skalavas, Hilda Hartline (Jack), and brothers Robert, Daniel (Connie), and Russell, and granddaughter, Kimberly Bentley. She is survived by sisters Darlene (Joyce) Moore, and Debbie Kirsh (David). Her beloved husband of 50 years, Robert (Bob) Bailie, daughter Janice Lipanot, (Chuck), son James (Jim) Bentley, (Rose), and daughter Jodie Bentley (Diane) as well as 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Evelyn worked at Mary’s Dairy in Turtle Creek until she met the love of her life Bob, married him in 1976 and moved to the Creighton area. Evelyn and Bob moved to Virginia in 1985 where they lived for 40 years. Evelyn was a homemaker and loved her children dearly. Evelyn loved doing crossword puzzles with her husband, crafts, playing cards, and baking various cookies, peanut butter balls, and chocolate covered pretzels each Christmas for her family.

Services will be held at Rusiewicz Funeral Home in Lower Burrell, PA and will be laid to rest at Greenwood Memorial Park in New Kensington, PA.
