Elsie Jane Vega, 72, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital. She was born in Cumberland MD, and was the daughter of the late James C. Dwire and Ella Neighbors Wratchford. She was retired from McDonalds as a manager and a member of Central United Methodist Church in Mathews. She loved online games, especially the Pogo Community.

She is survived by her husband Victor M. Vega, daughters Angela Otto (Michael) and Jennifer Shaulis, stepson Victor Vega (Barbara), grandchildren Ella and Evan Otto, step grandchildren Vanessa Trahan (Bo) and Victor Vega (Heather) and great grandchildren Jackson and Isabelle Trahan, her faithful companions, Suzie Q and Tia, and a host of family whom she loved.

The family will receive family and friends on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church, 121 Church St. Mathews, Va. with a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Central United Methodist Church, Mathews, Virginia, to help with funeral expenses for Jane. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory, Gloucester, VA. is in charge of arrangements.
