Elizabeth Raleigh Shipley

Beth went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 1, 2024. She was 61 years old, born on January 28, 1963, in Hampton, Va. to Robert Wayne Raleigh and Glinnie Earl Williams who both preceded her in death. She worked at The Courthouse Restaurant in Gloucester among other restaurants throughout her life. She never met a stranger and had a smile that would light up a room. She leaves behind a daughter Sara Shipley and a son Kent Beshears and 3 grandchildren Grace, Faith, and Junior McCurry. She had 6 siblings Sherry, Bebe, Donna, Glenn, Dana, and Robbie with multiple nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews who fondly called her Granny. She will be greatly missed by many. A memorial service will be held at Andrews Funeral Home in Gloucester on May 7, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., and a Celebration of Life will be held at Damons on May 18th at 2:00 p.m.
