Edward Paul Ottarson III (Pee-Wee), age 75 of Gloucester, VA passed away on April 29, 2023. He was born in Gloucester on November 11, 1947 to the late Edward & Eliza Ottarson.
He served in the United States Navy and received an honorable discharge in 1974. He then served in the United States Coast Guard Reserves, and received an honorable discharge in 1981. He retired from the Naval Weapons Station in 2001.
He was a lifelong member of Beulah Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents Edward & Eliza, Brother In-law Milton Belvin and his Great Granddaughter Claire Hudgins. He is survived by his children Paula Jean Huff (Ray), Mark Ottarson (Anita), and Jacklynn Ottarson. He is also survived by his siblings Donnie (Melinda), Esther Belvin, Patricia Gills , Wanda Hudgins, Robert (Debbie) & Norman. He is also survived by his grandchildren Marie Foster, Rebecca Hudgins (James), Cole Huff, Brittany Ottarson, Mackenzie Huff, and great-grandson Calvin Hudgins. Along with a host of nieces & nephew.
A funeral service officiated by Reverend Tom Cohick will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Beulah Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m. at Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory.
