In Loving Memory of Edna Marie Robertson

With heartfelt sadness, we share that Edna Marie Robertson of Gloucester, VA, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2025.

Edna was a dedicated business owner in the Newport News area, where she worked with focus and determination until her retirement in 2020. She was known for her honesty and no-nonsense nature—never afraid to speak her mind—but she was also caring, loyal, and generous to those around her.

She enjoyed traveling, especially with her dear friend Pat Minarik, her husband Irving, and her nieces Patricia and Brenda. Even though Edna had no children of her own, when she married Irving on May 1, 2010, Edna welcomed the opportunity to become part of a larger family.

Edna is survived by her husband, Irving S. Robertson, Jr. of Gloucester; several stepchildren and step-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Lemon and Lena Moran of Botetourt, VA; her stepson, Irving S. Robertson III ("Robbie"); and 6 siblings.

Edna will be remembered for her strength, her wit, and the quiet ways she showed she cared. She will be deeply missed.
