Diane Wartella Young, 72, of Gloucester, Virginia, passed away Friday, April 19th, at her home. She was born on November 20, 1946 in Saint Ignace, Michigan and was the daughter of the late Henry and Georgina Wartella.

She is survived by her husband, Alfred L Young, children Tonya Neal, Brian Young, Travis Young, sister Shelby Newcomb, brother Roger Wartella, and her grandchildren Neal Young, Ryan Young, Morgan Neal, Nathaniel Young, Taylor Young and Travis Young.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in Newton, North Carolina. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
