It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dianne West Childress, who departed this life on September 23, 2025, at the age of 78.

Born on July 4, 1947, in Gloucester, VA, Dianne was a beloved mother and grandmother. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, humor and vibrant personality.

Dianne is survived by her daughter Tammy Kellum Graham and son Mitchell Glen Kellum. She was preceded in death by her parents Leon West and Lucille Booker West, husband Arthur Adolph Kellum and husband Horace "Chippy" Childress.

The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and all of the wonderful staff at Riverside Walter Reed Hospital and Riverside Hospice Care Middle Peninsula for the excellent and supportive care.

A service to celebrate Dianne's life will be held at Andrews Funeral Home on October 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a gathering, location to be announced. Friends and family are invited to attend and share their memories.
