Diana Joyce, a long-time resident of Ware Neck, beloved wife, mother, Grammy, and sister, passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2025 at Riverside Regional hospital. Diana was born to Stanley and Ruby Moody on June 16, 1949 in Asheville, NC. She grew up in Newport News graduating from Warwick High School, Christopher Newport University, and the University of Virginia. Her passion for children learning to read led her to become a Reading Specialist which she pursued for 26 years in Gloucester County. She was a long-time member of Ware Episcopal Church where she served in countless ways. She especially enjoyed her work on the vestry and her participation in the Ware River Circle of the Kings Daughters and Sons.
Diana is survived by her husband of 56 years, Paul J. Joyce. Together they have three sons: Jeff of the home; Sean (Danielle) of Chesterfield County, VA; and Justin (Shauna) and grandsons Aiden, Keagan, and Jonah of Macon Georgia. She is also survived by her sister, Janice Cagle of Gloucester; her brothers-in-law Skipper (Sherry) and John (Tammy) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be at Ware Episcopal Church on April 11, 2:00 PM. Andrews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
