Della Effie Mehaffey, 92, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020. She was born in Bryson City, NC and was the daughter of John and Liza Vick Mehaffey. She retired Gambro Co. with over 30 years of service. She was a loving mother, and grandmother and was liked by all. She was also a big Elvis Fan.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Bobbie Carroll Mehaffey and a son David Drew Mehaffey. She is survived by her sons William "Boyd" Mehaffey(Nancy) and Stevan "Red" Mehaffey(Eileen), sister Annie "Nellie" Trull, seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be private. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory, Gloucester, Va. is in charge of arrangements.
