Deborah Ann White, maiden name Hugate from North River Road in Mathews, passed away peacefully Sunday May 29th, 2022. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Tanisha and Brandon Carteret, a son and daughter-in-law Tommy and Sadie Locklin, four grandkids Tyler and Tessa Carteret, Reagan Locklin, and Ily Butcher as well as many other loving family members and friends. Debbie was an avid animal lover and had three cats that she adored, Bogie, Paris, and Baby. On sunny summer days you could find her tending her garden, working her magic to make amazingly beautiful flowers. She would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it but, if you started to stray, she had no problem setting you straight. Strong, Beautiful, Loving, Stubborn, and Resilient. She will be missed dearly and, in our thoughts and hearts forever. We love you, Mama. Rest easy and sweet dreams.
