David M. Wood, 71, passed away peacefully at his home in Gloucester on December 1, 2020. David was preceded in death by the love of his life, Grace Wood; his parents, Euthern & Mary Wood; and his brother, Bennett Wood. He is survived by his daughter, Angela Mosher (Brandon); his brother, Alan Wood (Evelyn); sisters, Lanell Jarvis (Nelson) and Diane Johnson (Terry); sister-in-law, Ruth Wood; and several nieces and nephews.

David had a huge heart, was very generous, and never met a stranger, which served him well in his life-long vocation in sales throughout the Tidewater area. David moved from Hampton to Gloucester upon retirement in order to spend time with his grandchildren, his "Precious" Bianca and his "Buddy" Shane. David also enjoyed spending time with his many bowling friends and his very dear neighbors, Les and Paige Whitaker. A private graveside service will be held at Hampton Veterans Memorial Gardens.
