David Drew Mehaffey, 68, of Gloucesgter, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at his home. He was a native of Canton, North Carolina and was a retired carpenter. He was an avid fisherman and woodworker and loved working in his garden. He servied in the U.S. Navy for years.
He was preceded in death by his father Bobbie Mehaffey and is survived by his children, Kristen Mehaffey, Jason Mehaffey and his wife Kelly, and Keith Mehaffey, his mother Della Laney Mehaffey, his brothers Stevan "Red" Mehaffey and his wife Eileen, and William "Boyd" Mehaffey and his wife Nancy, seven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. the family would like to give special thanks to Lorraine Belpedio for her help with the care of Drew. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral services will be private. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
