Christine 'Sue' Mathews Belvin
Sue went home to be with her Lord March 1, 2017 surrounded by her family, at the age of 75. She was born July 18, 1941 and was a native of Fairmont, WV.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years Richard 'Dickie' Belvin, a native of York County VA. They were married March 2, 1966.
She has 3 children, son David Tennant, daughter Dawn Skinner of Granville, WV and daughter Barbi and son in law Dan Gamble of Gloucester,VA .
She is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Krystal Tennant; Jordan, Taylor and Kendall Gamble of Gloucester, VA: Ashleigh and Tiara Ireland of Morgantown, WV
She leaves a loving legend of 4 great-grandchildren: Ashlynn, Chloe, Colton and Braiden
She will also be missed by her brothers and sisters: Glenna Gehring and late husband Bill of ID, Denzil Mathews and late wife Carol of MD, Helen Davis of WV, Anna Rannenberg and husband Tom of WV, Johnny Mathews and wife Sue of WV, Clarence Mathews and wife Brigitte of WV,Jeannie Ryan of TN and Corkey Ice and husband Toby of OH. She leaves several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jennings and Delvia Mathews of Fairmont, WV and grandchildren Jessica and Ricky Ireland of Buchannan, WV.
She worked at Gee Bees in Fairmont WV for 15 years and was a charter member of Tri-City Church of God. She moved to Gloucester VA 1992 and was the owner and operator of Nitty Gritty Cleaning Service from 1996-2005.
She enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a true faith of God. "Love Works". The family will receive friends at Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory, Gloucester, Va. on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 2-3:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to your favorite charities.
