Charles G. Harms, born July 26, 1935, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2024 at home, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Brooklyn, New York. He married Nancy Schlesier Harms on June 25, 1960, and they had a loving marriage for 64 years. He was very outgoing and loving, and he always had the ability to light up a room and talk with anyone. Charles loved books, and he used to volunteer at the local library. In his free time, he would collect stamps and build models of toy soldiers, airplanes, and ships. He is survived by the love of his life and his best friend, Nancy; one daughter, Susan; two sons, Chuck and Tom; three granddaughters, Johnna, Aileen, and Caelin; two grandsons, Chris and Atticus; and two great-grandchildren, Adelyn and Weston. He will be deeply missed.
