Loving mother, sister, daughter, aunt & friend Catherine Alice Keffer, age 70, of Hampton , passed Sunday, Nov 4, 2018, in Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton.
She was born Nov 1, 1948 in Newport News , VA to her late parents Catherine Alice Wasson Keffer
& Samuel Leroy Keffer Jr. She was a graduate of Denbigh High School, 1968.
Catherine is survived by her son David A Padgett of Hampton, daughter Susan A Padgett of Hampton,her beloved cat Ivy, sister in law Linda Keffer of Newport News, & several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 brother Samuel Leroy Keffer III & ex husband Beverle Wilson Padgett.
Catherine was a devoted mother & loved her children immensely. She was young at heart, always had a smile on her face & saw the good in everyone. She enjoyed collecting dolls, drawing, writing, keeping up with pop culture & all of her favorite TV shows. She will be remembered, cherished & missed greatly by all who knew & loved her.
