Carolyn Eunice Walters Keener, 86, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022. She retired in 1998 from Ft. Eustis as a court stenographer.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Margaret Walters, husband Dwight Ellwood Keener, Sr. and son Dwight Ellwood Keener, Jr., and a granddaughter, and is survived by her daughters Kathy Moore(Scott), Karen Cruz (Vincent), and Kristine Keener, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 11:00 am at Bellamy Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society. The family would like to give thanks to her grandson Michael Moran and to Carolyn Johnson for the excellent care that they gave to our mother. Andrews Funeral Home in Gloucester is in charge of arrangements.
