Carol Ann Dukes, 59, of Gloucester, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018.

She started working at the Gloucester-Mathews Gazette-Journal in high school and continued (with a gap of a few years) through 2016.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Jones Dukes.

She is survived by her two sons, Logan Brent Cannon(Mindy Thomas) and Justin Forrest Cannon(Chelsie Cook); stepchildren, Erin Dukes King and David Logan Dukes; grandchildren, Keira Cannon, Falon Cook, Aubrie Thomas, Lane and Sean King; parents, Dave and Gloria Lilly and Joyce and Bill Hudgins; sister, Gale and husband Kent Kane, and brother, Robert Lilly, and half brothers Mark green and Tony Green.

The family will receive friends at Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory, Gloucester, on Saturday, March 3, 2018, from 3-4:00 p.m., with a memorial service starting at 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue.
