Carl Hartkopf, 90, of Gloucester, Virginia passed away on August 13, 2023. He was the son of the late Hazel & Emmet Hartkopf and was born in Camillus, New York. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, of 67 years of marriage. He had two sons, Michael and his wife Cheryl and David and his wife, Kelly and his late daughter, Donna, who passed away in 2013. He had three grandchildren, Ashley and her husband, Bryan, Shay and her husband, Patrick, and grandson, Hunter; five great grandchildren, Lillian, Willa, Renny, Jaxon, and Harper Rose. He had two brothers and a sister who passed away before him. He went into the Navy in 1951 and retired as a Chief Yeoman in 1971. He moved to Nashua, N.H. and worked with Sears for 5 years as a salesman and then to North Carolina in 1976 where he owned a hardware store. His final move was to Gloucester, VA in 1995

There will be a Memorial Service on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 2:00 at Andrews Funeral Home and Crematory.
