Brenda Susan Owens Allmond, 73, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026. She was the daughter of Betty Hudgins Owens and the late Stanford Owens.

She retired from the office of Dr. Stan English,DDS, as office manager.

Beside her father, she was preceded in death by her brother Russell Owens and is survived by her husband Walter Edward Allmond, Jr.; children Suzanne Blanks (Michael), James "Jay" Smiith (Stephanie), stepdaughters Emily Allmond Flippin (Bobby), Stephanie Jenkins (Chris), her siblings Stanford Owend, Jr. (Glenda), Dorothy Adams, grandchildren Tyler Busic (Stevie), Billy Jenkins, Molly Smith, Leslie Jenkins, Aiden Zeliff, Carter Page Flippin, Dylan Smith, Addie Smith, and Zoe Blanks, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2026 in the chapel of Andrews Funeal Home. Burial will be in Bellamy United Methodist Church Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to either Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue, or to the Heart Pauley Health Center at VCU-MCV.
