It is with heavy hearts and unimaginable sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and mamaw Beverly Joy Hudgins. She will be reunited in heaven with her mother Elanor J. Nobles, grandmother Evelyn Elks, brother Stewart Nobles, and many others she has missed over the years.
She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of over 50 years James S. Hudgins, her three children who will miss her tremendously James S. Hudgins III (Jackie), Amanda H. Guirkins (Shad), Eric D. Hudgins, her three grandchildren Andrew J. Guirkins (Veronica), Alexandra N. Ammons (Dustin), Dakota J. Hudgins, and one great-grandchild she adored like no other, Oliver J. Ammons. She is also survived by her sister Monica Pate, brother Patrick S. Nobles and father Robert G. Nobles.
Beverly was a resident of Gloucester County for 48 years.
Her sunrise was on July 1, 1959.
Her sunset was on October 16, 2024.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 22, 2924 from 1-2:00 p.m. with funeral services starting at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Windsor Gardens, Dutton, Va. Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, Va is in charge of arrangements.
