Betty Dixon Horsley, 81, passed away on April 8, 2024. She was born in King & Queen County and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Retha Lowney Dixon and the widow of Wilmer Oakley Horsley. She attended New Hope Independent Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Theresa Elliott, Cheryl Harper, Vincent Horsley, Robert Horsley, Angela Jamerson, Michael Horsley, and Retha Horsley, sister Joan Ayers and Carolyn Harlow, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 1-2:00 p.m. with funeral services starting at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Shackelford Chapel Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to New Hope Independent Baptist Church, Gloucester, Va.
