Obituary

Barbara Jean Bunn Jordan, 90, passed from her earthly home to her heavenly home, April 14, 2023; at the home of her oldest son. Barbara was born March 14,1933 in Durham, North Carolina, one of seven children. Barbara was an active woman always busy raising five children. She had many talents; painting, drawing, sewing, needle work, cooking, and baking. Growing up we were always busy helping Mom and Dad with the garden, canning and freezing vegetables and fruits. Barbara could do anything she wanted. Barbara loved flowers, she and Dad always had many beds of flowers.Barbara and Ben loved to go camping traveling from Pennsylvania to the Florida Keys. She especially loved the Outer Banks and Tennessee areas. Our Mom loved Christmas and enjoyed decorating her home for the season.

Barbara was a member of Reedswood Christian Church in Gloucester, Va.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband Joseph Benjamin Jordan and her daughter, Treena Marie Jordan.

Barbara is survived by her children, Linda Nuttall (William), William Jordan (Sandy), Kathy Murray

{Milan) and Gary Jordan. Also, her grandchildren, Connie Johnston (Rodney), Pamela Leigh {Rickey), Anna Moffitt (Chris), Forrest Jordan, Jessica Freeman, Emily Johnson, Danny Gay, Lisa Nichols (Mike) and Debbie Meeks. Barbara was blessed to have 16 greatgrandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

A special thanks to Dawn Moss and the Riverside Walter Reed Hospice Teams who cared for our Mom with tender love and care.

Funeral Services will be at Providence Baptist Church Tuesday, April 18th• The family will receive friends at 11:00 with a celebration of life at 12:00. There will be a private family burial immediately after.

Memorial donations may be made to the Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society or Care-Net Peninsula in care of Providence Baptist Church, Hayes. Andrews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
