Argatha Frances Eads passed away at her home in Gloucester, VA on September 2, 2022. She was born in Beardsforth, West VA on July 10, 1951. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jobill and Mary Campbell, daughter Mary Sue Booth and grandson Marvin Booth III.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Glen A. Eads, her daughters, Ruth Thomas (Glenn) and Aimee Cadmus Hamilton (Jimmy Bristow); Grandchildren, Kacy Skidmore (Makenna), Victoria Miller (Jason), Melissa Davis (Cody), Vanissa Miles (Raymond Burr Jr.), Thomas Booth (Taylor), Monica Boor (children, Samuel, Westley and Willow), and great grandchildren, James Bates, Jase Skidmore, Trinity and Darrell Davis, Theda and Thomas Booth Jr., and Gabriel Francis Burr. Frances was also survived by her brothers, Joe (Peggy) Campbell of Oklahoma, Jim (Beverly) of West VA, John (Laura) Campbell of West VA; and her sisters, Rose Carte (Larry), Carol Pittman, Denise Reed of West VA, Nancy Butner of South Carolina, Patty Dial (sons Bradley (Jody) and William) and numerous nieces and nephews. Frances wanted to acknowledge a special family friend, Pete Swanson.
Frances retired several years ago after teaching for 40 years. She loved the Lord with her whole heart and is safe within the arms of God.
A Celebration of Frances' life will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Beulah Baptist Church, Ware Neck, VA with Pastor Tom Cohick.
