Amia Rosalynn Schultz

Amia Rosalynn Schultz, a beautiful, loving, spirited, and unforgettable eight-year-old, passed away on September 13, 2026.

Amia was a child who could not simply walk into a room without leaving her mark. There was not a person who met her whose life she did not touch, whose heart she did not captivate, or whose memory she did not become a part of. She had a way of making herself known—lovingly, confidently, and sometimes with just the right amount of bossiness. That was Amia. She knew what she wanted, she loved fiercely, and she did it all with an innocence and sweetness that made her completely and wonderfully herself.

Amia's heart was enormous. She loved people deeply, but perhaps no one could compete with her love for animals. She loved every animal she encountered as though it were her very own pet, and she had a special tenderness for every creature, great and small.

Amia was an active and cherished part of the Gloucester community. She was a third-grade student at Bethel Elementary School and a student at Bayside Youth Ballet, where she enjoyed ballet and tap dancing. She was also a member of the Boys & Girls Club of Gloucester and 4-H Cloverbuds. Her curiosity and love of learning led her to enjoy attending archaeology camp with the Fairfield Foundation, where she could explore, discover, and ask the kinds of questions that only Amia would think to ask.

Amia's life was filled with family, friends, activities, animals, adventures, and so much love. She was a daughter, sister, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. Above all, she was deeply and completely loved.

Amia is survived by her mother, Tiffany Morgan; stepfather, Charles Morgan III; sister, Annabella Rodgers; brother, Charles Morgan IV; and her baby sister on the way, Vivian Morgan. She is also survived by her grandmothers, Lisa Yeaw (“Nonni”) and Cynthia Albertson; great-grandfather, Jim Davidson; great-grandmother Loretta Albertson and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members whom Amia loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Sue Legault-Davidson (“GG”); grandfather, Don Yeaw; grandmother, Cynthia Passanisi; and grandfather, Jerry Albertson. She passed away alongside her beloved father, Matthew Schultz and bonus mom, Kelly Stewart.

A Celebration of Life for Amia will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Grace on Main Church, 6470 Main Street, Gloucester, VA 23061. The family will receive visitors from

1pm to 3pm and the service will begin at 3:00pm. We invite family and friends of all ages to come celebrate Amia’s bright and joyful spirit. Please wear colors as bright as Amia!

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Amia's memory to Bayside Youth Ballet, the Boys & Girls Club of Gloucester or the Fairfield Foundation, three organizations that were special parts of Amia's life.

Though her family and friends are left with a tremendous emptiness, they can find comfort in knowing that Amia is now eternally resting in the arms of the one true Father, our Lord and Savior. We hold onto the promise that this is not goodbye forever, but only goodbye for now.

Amia's time on earth was far too short, but her love was immeasurable, her impact was everlasting, and the hearts she touched will carry her forever.
