'End of Duty' came on April 20, 2018. Mac is survived by his wife Kathy of 46 years and his children Lea Cranford and husband Seth, Deborah McNutt and Jeffrey McNutt and wife Cynthia; his grandchildren, he affectionately called the 'r ed brigade', John Wesley, Henry Tyler, Hudson Grace and Evan Jackson Cranford and Trevor McNutt; and his many friends he referred to as Family.

Mac retired as a Master Chief in the US Navy and Postmaster at Ark, VA. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to your favorite charity. Memorial services will be private. Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
